Privacy Policy

The short version: your journal lives on your phone. We don't collect it, can't read it, and don't want to.

Last updated: June 12, 2026

What we collect

Nothing. Everline has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no servers of our own. Your entries, settings, and reminders are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage.

Your journal entries

Everything you write stays on your iPhone. Entries are never transmitted to us or to any third party by the app. If you use the export feature, the resulting file goes only where you choose to put it. Your entries may be included in your personal iPhone backups (iCloud or computer backups), which are governed by Apple's privacy policy and your own backup settings.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personally identifying information about you. Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymized sales statistics.

Notifications

Evening reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They never leave your phone, and we cannot see whether or when they fire.

Children

Everline does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.

Changes to this policy

If Everline's privacy practices ever change, we will update this page and note the date above. Given the app's design, we don't expect them to.
